The Jazz Ensemble and Combos consist of a wide range of students throughout Wheaton College gathered together through a shared love of Jazz. They are led by Dr. Deanna Witkowski and James Davis and have taken advantage of many collaborative opportunities to witness, experience, and perform with professional jazz musicians.
They are broken into the Jazz Ensemble and the Showcase Combos to be able to provide versatile performing opportunities, and their professors offer additional private study for students to deepen their understanding of Jazz music.
This evening’s concert will feature a mix of classic jazz, original compositions, and sacred jazz.
