BAND TOGETHER FOR OUR PLANET
Join the Wheaton College Symphonic Band, with an appearance by Beethoven’s Buddies Chimes class, for a fun, high-energy concert about caring for our planet, from mountains and oceans to the neighborhoods we call home.
Students will meet the instruments of a full concert band and learn simple, real ways to help take care of our Earth. Partner this concert with your classrooms studying ecosystems, community helpers, or environmental science. The performance runs approximately 40 minutes.
WHAT TO EXPECT: A sensory friendly space for first-time concertgoers, special lighting, warnings before louder dynamics, spaces where students can walk or take a quiet break, simple explanations between pieces, and plenty of moments to keep young listeners engaged.
