Clarinet Trios in Concert features faculty artists Leonardo Garcia Altino, cello, and Sung Hoon Mo, piano, joined by guest artist and Principal Clarinetist of the Lyric Opera of Chicago Orchestra, Heesoo Kim. The program which includes Muczynski’s Time Pieces for clarinet and piano and Giacoma’s Fantasia on “Cavalleria Rusticana,” concludes with the dark and romantic Brahms’ Clarinet Trio in A minor, Op. 114. Together, these works highlight the expressive range and rich interplay of the clarinet repertoire, offering a beautifully curated musical experience.
