THE WHEATON COLLEGE CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC PRESENTS

Symphonic Band Concert

The Wheaton College Symphonic Band invites you to its Fall Concert, Painted on Silence: Art Reflected in Sound, an evening of music inspired by the literary, visual, and performing arts.  Under the direction of Dr. Brady McNeil, the program explores how artistic expression across mediums can be transformed into powerful soundscapes.

Featuring works such as Verdi’s Nabucco Overture, selections from the Broadway hit Wicked, and Sousa’s iconic The Liberty Bell, the program also proudly welcomes distinguished Chicago Symphony Orchestra horn player David Griffin, performing the Gregson Horn Concerto with the Wheaton College Symphonic Band.
