She will mark the 40th anniversary of her professional debut this season. In concert around the world, Midori transfixes audiences, bringing together graceful precision and intimate expression.  The Festival Strings of Lucerne was founded in 1956, quickly establishing itself among the most distinguished chamber orchestras in Europe and around the world. The orchestra offers a wide-ranging repertoire in its own concert series, at the Lucerne Festival, and some of the greatest concert halls of Europe. The Orchestra’s program with MIDORI includes works by Honegger, Schumann and Beethoven.
